yoga teacher training terms & conditions

We are happy you are here!  There are few (or maybe more than a few) things important to know concerning the use of this site and before signing up for and attending (in person or virtually) yoga teacher training programs and related program services.  Your use of this site and purchasing any of our services either on this site or in our studio will be subject to these terms and conditions which are subject to change at the discretion of OmGrown Yoga Collective LLC ("The Studio").​

program registration, refunds, cancellations, deferrals policy

  1. Selection of a payment plan and the first payment ‘aka Deposit' is required to secure your spot.  This payment is not refundable.

  2. Once your deposit or first payment is made, you will be added to the program selected and receive further information.

  3. Generally, program tuition is not refundable once the program has started. 

  4. In rare situations, such as job loss, or change in family status, a deferral may be granted to delay your course start date and pause your payment plan, if one has been selected.

  5. Deferring your course start date is allowed only once

  7. Embodying the practices and teachings and successfully completion of certification requirements require your  attendance.  In case absence from class is unavoidable, arrangements to make up the time missed can be made through consultation with us.  Note that there may be extra charges.

risks and responsibilities

  1. You acknowledge you are participating in yoga classes, health programs, workshops and/or other wellness, body work, therapy, exercise and healing arts activities (collectively, the “Activities”) as part of this program. The Activities may be offered in the physical location of the Studio or offered online by videos, television, podcasts, apps or other digital media or platforms. All of such offerings, either physical or online, shall be considered “Activities.”

  2. You recognize that you must be in adequate physical and mental health to participate in the Activities. The Activities may require intense physical exertion, and you represent and warrant that you are physically fit enough to participate, and have no medical condition which would prevent full participation in the Activities. You recognize that the Activities may cause or aggravate a physical injury or medical condition and it is your responsibility to consult with a physician before participating in the Activities. The Studio reserves the right to refuse your participation in any Activity on medical, fitness or any other grounds.

  3. Participation in the Activities could result in high blood pressure, fainting, heartbeat disorders, physical injury, heart attack or stroke and may aggravate pre-existing injuries. Participation in the Activities could result in the experience of  muscle, back, neck and other injuries.  You are responsible for understanding your physical limitations and being sufficiently self-aware to stop or modify participation in any Activity before becoming injured or aggravate a pre-existing injury.

  4. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activities, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which might incur as a result of participating in the Activities at the School, including those which may result from the negligence of the School.

  5. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activities, you knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any “Claim” (as defined below) you may have against the School, its owners, managers, teachers, instructors, workshop presenters, employees, independent contractors and staff (each, a “Released Party”) that you may sustain as a result of participating in the Activities at the School even if the Claim arises from the negligence of any Released Party or anyone else. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless each Released Party from any loss, cost, or liability incurred in defending any Claim made by me or anyone making a Claim on my behalf, even if the Claim is alleged to or did result from the negligence of any Released Party or anyone else. “Claim” includes but is not limited to any and all liabilities, claims, demands, expenses, fees, legal actions, rights of actions for damages, personal injury, mental suffering and distress, or death that you may suffer, my spouse, children or unborn child may suffer (including any legal fees or expenses) in connection with participation in any Activity.

  6. You, your heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue any Released Party for any Claim caused by any negligence or other acts of a Released Party.

  7. You hereby understand that the School from time to time may photograph, video, or otherwise record classes or events occurring at the School and place such photographs and videos on its Website or social media platform. You hereby consent to the use of your image that may appear in any such photograph or video

  8. Required reading materials and any additional supplies felt necessary to adequately complete the course are the responsibility of the student. 

intellectual property

  1. ​All intellectual property in the materials and resources provided to you belongs to, or has been licensed to OmGrown Yoga Collective LLC and your use of those materials and resources is restricted to your own personal use and you may not share them with third parties.

  2. Unless explicitly stated or agreed otherwise in writing, the resources and materials provide to you may not be downloaded, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited other than for your own personal use in accordance with this agreement
